65 percent of applicants to Marian University were admitted for fall 2018

At Marian University, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 70 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Fond Du Lac enrolled 1,819 students in fall 2018, including 1,430 in undergraduate and 389 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

57 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 22 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 65 percent of the 1,962 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
