Cost of college went up for all students at Ripon College

Tuition and fees rose 4.7 percent for 2018-19 at Ripon College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $43,808 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,973 more than the $41,835 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 233 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.7 million and 170 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (807), 734 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.2 million, and 589 students took out $4.2 million in federal student loans.
