Yard Waste Pick-up
The Public Works Department provides curb-side pick-up of yard waste two times a year. The Fall Yard Waste Pick-up will begin on October 12, 2020 (weather permitting). This service is intended for the disposal of leaves, grass, garden waste, and branches that are generated from routine yard maintenance. THIS SERVICE IS NOT FOR TREE REMOVAL OR LOT CLEARING. All yard waste must be at curbside by 7:00 am on November 16, 2020, when the Department of Public Works will make one final pass through the City. This service is for City of Waupun property owners only.
Guidelines for Yard Waste Pick-up
Leaves and branches shall not be placed in the street.
Leave grass clippings and leaves at the curbside loose (DO NOT BAG).
Separate leaf piles and brush piles
Branches shall not exceed 3 inches in diameter (If possible, keep all cut ends of branches facing the same way)
No garbage, appliances, furniture, tires, etc.
No tree stumps or tree root systems will be collected.
The City will not collect any items not in compliance with the above guidelines.
