City of Beaver Dam issued the following announcement on Nov. 24
The DPW crew will start the final round of leaf and garden debris pickup on Monday, November 29. This means that once the crew has picked up leaves/garden debris at your residence on or after Monday, November 29th, they have completed their final pickup for you for this season. Our goal is to complete this final pickup for the entire City, however to cover the entire City does take several days and the completion of this final round is weather dependent.
Residents may also continue to dispose of yard waste, year-round, by bringing it to the City Garage, located at 640 S. Center Street, during regular business hours, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Saturday hours are done for the season. Saturday hours will resume in April.
Another reminder, brush collection is completed for the year and will start again in April. Residents are reminded that no bulk garbage should be placed at the curb until May.
PLEASE NOTE: The City Garage will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on both Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th.
