City of Fond du Lac issued the following announcement on Dec. 15
City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on December 24th and December 31st in observance of the holidays.
The Municipal Service Center will be closed to all services on December 24th and December 31st. Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
Refuse and recycling will be collected as follows:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday customers
- No change to collection schedule
- Friday customers
- Recycling will be picked up on Friday (no change)
- Refuse/garbage will be picked up on Monday following the holiday (December 27th & January 3rd – Please have your materials set out by 5:00am to accommodate the additional collections on these dates.)
The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on December 24th and December 25th for the Christmas holiday. It will close at 4:00pm on December 31st and be closed all day on January 1st for New Year’s Day. Please go to www.fdlpl.org for information on other locations.
As always, the Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational throughout the holiday period.
