Census Bureau: 79.4% of people in Waupaca County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 51,769 citizens living in Waupaca County in 2021, 79.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 41,113 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 20,887 were male, constituting 50.8%, and 20,226 were female, making up 49.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Waupaca County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78%.
