FOIA Request to Village of Kekoskee Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Fond Du Lac Times have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for records pertaining to new voter registrations in the Village of Kekoskee.
Specifically, we are seeking a list of voters who registered on November 5, 2024. Access to these public records is crucial for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities which include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
We believe that as a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, we are eligible for a fee waiver for this request.
