Rep. Glenn Grothman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 6th district, shared several updates on social media regarding local events and achievements. His posts highlight community engagement and personal advocacy for animal welfare.

On December 12, 2024, Grothman attended the Oshkosh Humane Society Pawliday Craft Fair. He took this opportunity to advocate against the declawing of cats, stating, "Had a great time at the Oshkosh Humane Society Pawliday Craft Fair! PSA: please stop declawing cats, it’s harmful and unnecessary. Let’s continue giving our furry friends the care they deserve!"

The following day, on December 13, he expressed his satisfaction with a recent community event in Sheboygan. He noted the success of the gathering by stating "The Sheboygan SS Cyril and Methodius Community Christmas Luncheon and Bake Sale was a great success last weekend!"

Additionally, on December 13, Grothman congratulated three individuals from Wisconsin for their achievement in scouting. He remarked on their accomplishments by saying "Congratulations to Noah Van Handel of Menasha, Zachary Wisnefske of Sheboygan Falls, and Gabriel Joseph Rammer of Fond Du Lac on achieving your Eagle Scout Awards! This is a big accomplishment that took years of hard work. Way to go!"
