Fond Du Lac Times

There were 1,540 students enrolled in North Fond du Lac School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 1.7% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.1% of them were boys, and 48.9% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 66.8% of the North Fond du Lac School District total enrollment.

Among the five schools in the North Fond du Lac School District, Friendship Learning Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 628 students in the 2023-24 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
