Later that day, he shared his experience of sampling soups donated by local businesses while engaging with the Greenbush Fire Department and community members. On Twitter, he stated, "I’m so grateful to have been able to sample a selection of soups generously donated by local establishments, all while sharing the experience with the Greenbush Fire Department and our wonderful community."
In another tweet posted on February 9, 2025, Grothman described his visit to the Ripon American Legion Soup and Chili Dinner where he supported veterans and auxiliary groups. He mentioned in his post: "Had a souper time at the Ripon American Legion Soup and Chili Dinner supporting both our nations veterans and the Ladies Auxiliary group."
