On Friday, Feb. 14, former Ripon High School standout Avary Makarewicz’s current college team, the UT Martin Skyhawks, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the DePaul Blue Demons.

The game took place at Bettye Giles Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Demons this season.

The Skyhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Bettye Giles Field against Murray State Racers.
