Glenn Grothman highlights Wisconsin community events during August weekend

U.S. Representative Glenn Grothman shared updates from several community events in Wisconsin over the weekend, highlighting local traditions and celebrations. The posts detail his participation at Wild Rose Days Party, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church’s anniversary, and the Sheboygan Jaycees Brat Days.

On August 9, Grothman recounted his experience at a local festival: "I had an incredible time at the Wild Rose Days Party. The event was packed with exciting activities, and the highlight was a huge parade open to everyone. This year's theme, “Kind Hearts”' was truly evident as various floats from local community groups came together in a display" (August 9, 2025).

Later that day, he attended a church milestone: "Honored to celebrate 175 years of faith, service, and community at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church! From powerful ceremonies to decades of meaningful outreach, their impact on the community is undeniable. It was a privilege to explore the historic displays and reflect on the" (August 9, 2025).

On August 10, Grothman joined another longstanding Wisconsin tradition: "I had an incredible time at the Sheboygan Jaycees Brat Days! This event celebrates the rich history of the iconic Wisconsin bratwurst while raising funds for a ton of local charities. Since its start in 1953, this beloved tradition has brought the community together year after" (August 10, 2025).

Glenn Grothman has served as U.S. Representative since first winning election in 2014 against Mark L. Harris with approximately 56.8% of votes to Harris's 40.9%. He continued his tenure by defeating Sarah Lloyd in 2016 with about 57.2% of votes; Dan Kohl in 2018 with roughly 55.5%; Jessica King in 2020 with around 59.2%; and most recently John Zarbano in the general election of November 2024 with about 61% of votes.
