Dear Friend of Tree of Lights,
As we all are aware, this has been a year of changes, adjustments and challenges. The Partners volunteers, the auxiliary service and fundraising group at Marshfield Medial Center – Beaver Dam, has seen some changes as well. We are still volunteering as needed but will no longer be a separate organization within the hospital. In previous years, the Partners have been the organizers of our annual Tree of Lights program. This year and moving forward, we will be assisting the BDCH Foundation to continue the Tree of Lights tradition and celebrate year 31 of this program.
You will still have the opportunity to purchase a $7 tree light in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. The lights will be shining on the trees located in front of MMC-BD, Hillside Manor and Stone Terrace throughout the month of December.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to host an on-site tree-lighting ceremony in December as in the past. We are making arrangements to record the event for you to watch on Facebook, our MMC-BD website and the Daily Dodge website.
Proceeds from the Tree of Lights will be designated to provide for the Hospice Home to care for end-of-life patients and their families.
