Understanding other people based on similarities and differences between generations is becoming confusing yet critically important in our workplace environment.  Building trust is an important aspect of retention of employees along with awareness of the values underlying social assumptions among the generations.  This short program will identify strategies on creating a work environment that everyone can coexist in managing, motivating and retaining all of your multi-generational talent.

Learning Objectives:

Identify how generational differences may affect communication and teamwork.

Increase awareness for different generational needs and motivations.

Build trusting relationships across generational divides.

Understand and respect generational differences and commonalities.

This event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged. 

Presenter: Brenda Stueber

Brenda Stueber is a life- long resident of the Fond du Lac community.  Her professional career in social work and higher education of twenty-eight years has provided her opportunities and exploration in research of generational differences.  Brenda is an associate professor and program director of the social work program at Marian University.  She has earned a master’s degree in school social work from University of Milwaukee Wisconsin and has presented on the topic of generational intelligence at various professional groups.
