U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) has strongly condemned the recent invasion of Israel by Hamas terrorists, calling it "plain evil" and expressing concern over the targeting of civilians, particularly women and children.

In a statement released today, Grothman highlighted the horrific nature of the attack, stating, "The goal appears solely to spread terror and death. There is no other time in recent memory in which an invasion targeted civilians, specifically women and children."

Expressing disappointment at the lack of response from Islamic countries, Grothman described it as both sad and illuminating. He emphasized that Israel has every right to defend itself and that the United States stands firmly with its strongest ally in the Middle East.

“Hamas terrorists invading Israel is plain evil. The goal appears solely to spread terror and death. There is no other time in recent memory in which an invasion targeted civilians, specifically women and children. In light of this heinous attack, the lack of comment from Islamic countries is sad and illuminating. Israel has every right to defend itself, and America strongly stands with Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East, as they respond to the violence perpetrated by Hamas,” said Grothman.

U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) is serving his fifth term representing Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
