Horicon School District Education: 799 students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 799 students enrolled in Horicon School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.1% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 79.6% of the Horicon School District total enrollment.

Horicon School District covers three schools within Dodge County, with its main office in Horicon.

Among the three schools in the Horicon School District, Horicon Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 349 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 14 students in a Wisconsin classroom, compared to the national average of 1:16. AAA State of Play considered Wisconsin to have the 14th best teacher to student ratio in the U.S.
