Glenn Grothman reflects on tributes and meetings impacting Wisconsin

Rep. Glenn Grothman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 6th district, shared several updates on social media reflecting on personal connections and legislative achievements. Grothman has been serving in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Tom Petri and has a long history of public service in Wisconsin.

On December 3, 2024, Grothman paid tribute to David Prosser, describing him as "a great Wisconsinite" who served as Assembly Speaker and later on the State Supreme Court. He expressed honor in calling Prosser a colleague and friend, acknowledging his leadership and commitment that will leave a lasting legacy. On December 5, 2024, Grothman commemorated Trooper Trevor Casper for his service and bravery after his life was tragically cut short in the line of duty. He announced that his bill to rename the post office in Kiel in honor of Casper had been signed into law, expressing pride in being able to honor Casper's legacy and service.
