The Republican Party of Green Lake County held its annual caucus on January 15, 2025, at Christianos Pizza in Green Lake. The meeting was led by Chairman Tony Deiss and attended by 19 members, including State Representative Alex Dallman from the 39th Assembly District.
State Senator John Jagler, representing the newly redistricted 13th Senate District, addressed attendees. He highlighted that the $4 billion surplus would be a key focus in the upcoming budget discussions and emphasized efforts to return funds to citizens. Jagler also noted an amendment regarding photo ID requirements will appear on the April ballot following recent legislative approvals.
Representative Dallman expressed gratitude for support as he begins his third term and continues serving on the Joint Finance Committee. He acknowledged challenges faced by Republicans in Wisconsin after losing seats in both state legislative chambers but remained hopeful about countering Governor Evers' initiatives.

Joan Ballweg spoke on behalf of Schimel's candidacy, stressing the importance of conservative voter turnout given past election outcomes.
The caucus also featured George Bureau, who announced his candidacy for 6th District Chairman ahead of elections scheduled for March 8th. Joan Ballweg further introduced Brittany Kinser as a candidate for Superintendent of Schools in an upcoming primary.
