Fond Du Lac Times

Voters in Fond du Lac will have the chance to engage with candidates for the City Council at a forum scheduled for March 13, 2025. The event will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fire Department Community Room, Station One, located at 815 S. Main Street.

Envision Greater Fond du Lac is organizing this forum, which will feature six candidates competing for three available seats on the council. It aims to provide a platform for these candidates to address significant community issues and respond to questions posed by a moderator.

The event is open to the public and will be live-streamed on envisiongreaterfdl.com under the events tab. Recordings of the forum and written responses from candidates will also be accessible afterward.

Topics of discussion during the forum include economic development, workforce and talent development, housing and infrastructure, as well as business policies and government efficiency. Each candidate will have equal time to present their views on these matters.

This initiative seeks to equip voters with necessary information ahead of the election set for April 1, 2025.
