Fond Du Lac Times

White students were the most represented ethnic group within Fond du Lac County schools in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of the 13,049 students attending Fond du Lac County schools, 70.7% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 16.3% of Fond du Lac County students.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Fond du Lac County, representing 72.1% of the student body.

Countywide, Bessie Allen Middle School had the most even distribution of races, which included 65.2% white students, 27.1% Hispanic students, 4.1% multiracial students, 2.4% Black students, and 1.2% Asian students.

In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county increased 0.5% from the previous year.
