Rep. Glenn Grothman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 6th district since 2015, often uses social media to share insights related to American history, local industry, and educational achievements. In a series of tweets, Grothman highlights these aspects, resonating with his role as a representative focused on his state's heritage and progress.

On April 26, Grothman commemorated the contributions of the country's first ladies through his post. "On First Ladies Day, we honor the courageous women who have stood beside our nation’s Presidents. They have met the challenging demands of public life with grace, resilience, and strength. From Martha Washington to Melania Trump, our First Ladies have been a strong foundation,” he stated, acknowledging their impact throughout American history.

Further reflecting his local engagement, Grothman posted a tweet on April 28 about his visit to Manitou, a company with a research and development facility in Wisconsin. "It was great visiting with folks from Manitou last week to talk about Wisconsin jobs and innovation. In Wisconsin, Manitou employs over 200 people at their R&D facility, exemplifying the strength and importance of U.S. manufacturing," he remarked, emphasizing the significance of manufacturing in the U.S. economy.

Later that day, Grothman celebrated the accomplishments of local high school students in a notable educational competition. "I had the honor of meeting the Congressional App Competition winners from Cedarburg High School. These talented innovators created 'Geography Dash,' a geography-based multiplayer game. Congratulations to this bright group on their achievement!” he tweeted, highlighting the innovative spirit in his district.

Grothman has served the U.S. Congress for multiple terms, replacing Tom Petri in 2015, after serving in various capacities within Wisconsin's state government.
