Rep. Glenn Grothman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 6th district since 2015, recently shared insights on his meetings and discussions via social media. Grothman, who replaced former U.S. Congress member Tom Petri, engaged with various stakeholders to address key issues impacting his constituents.
On May 8, 2025, Rep. Grothman stated, "This week, I had the privilege of meeting with the Wisconsin Hospital Association to discuss healthcare priorities and work toward ensuring affordable, high-quality medical options that will benefit all Wisconsinites." The Wisconsin Hospital Association was originally founded in 1920.
Later that day, Grothman reported an "informative meeting with Dr. Paul Larson of @WRS_WI in Oshkosh." He mentioned they discussed how to better protect radiologists nationwide by advocating for fair and sustainable reimbursement rates.
In another engagement on May 8, he commented on a "great (meating) today with two #WI06 representatives from the @MeatInstitute." He highlighted that their packers and processors support over 350 companies across North America and operate more than 800 USDA-inspected plants producing over 95% of U.S. meat and poultry.
Glenn Grothman was born in Milwaukee in 1955 and currently resides in Glenbeulah. He holds a BA and a JD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
