Sunday, Feb. 23: Ripon High School standout Avary Makarewicz’s college team loses to Evansville Purple Aces

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Ripon High School standout Avary Makarewicz’s current college team, the UT Martin Skyhawks, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Skyhawks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 2:50 p.m. at Billiken Sports Center against Saint Louis Billikens.
