Three days later, on July 17, he addressed foreign relations with Estonia by stating: "I had the pleasure of meeting with members of the Estonian Foreign Affairs Committee this week to reaffirm the strong partnership between our nations and discuss the state of the transatlantic alliance. Later that day, Grothman commented on border security policy, posting: "Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, illegal border crossings have PLUMMETED.

Glenn Grothman has represented Wisconsin's 6th District in Congress since replacing Tom Petri in 2015. Before serving in Congress, he held seats in both the Wisconsin State Assembly (2003-2005) and State Senate (2005-2015). Born in Milwaukee in 1955, Grothman resides in Glenbeulah. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a BA in 1978 and earned a JD from the same institution in 1983.
