William Penterman, Wisconsin State Representative for 37th District | Official Website
State Representative William Penterman was sworn in today at the State Capitol in Madison, beginning his third term serving the 38th Assembly District. Penterman, a Republican, was elected to represent the district in 2025, succeeding former representative Barbara Dittrich.
“I am deeply honored and humbled by the trust the residents of the 38th Assembly District have placed in me,” said Penterman. “I look forward to getting to work on important issues facing our district and our State.”
In this legislative session, Penterman will chair the Assembly Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs and serve as vice-chair of the Assembly Committee on Children and Families. He will also participate in committees on Education, Housing and Real Estate, Tourism, Ways and Means, and Rules.
“My priority is to ensure that Wisconsin remains a state where families thrive, businesses succeed, and veterans are supported,” Penterman said.
