Black students made up 1.4% of Dodge County coverage area enrollment for the 2024-25 school year

During the 2024-25 school year, Dodge County schools enrolled 139 Black students, marking a 14.7% decrease compared to the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Among the 39 schools in Dodge County, Watertown High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2024-25 school year, with a total of 18 students.

According to the 2024 NAEP results, Wisconsin showed a wide achievement gap between ethnic groups. On average, white students scored 40 to 50 points higher than Black students in math and reading. Hispanic students also scored lower than white students in both subjects, with an average gap of about 20 points.
