Fond du Lac, WI 54937The Hive opened for business on June 24, 2021. Despite a major construction project on Hwy 23 and the ongoing pandemic, The Hive's owner, Erika Daleiden, decided to use her many years in the hospitality business to set out on her own business venture. Erika started in the hospitality business when she was 12 years old working at her father's popular ice cream shop in Cecil, Wisconsin. While in high school, she went on to work as a server in the locally famous OJ's Midtown Restaurant. She then began working as a bartender and prep cook at Red Lobster while in college. While working on her Master's degree in education--as well as actively teaching at Fond du Lac High School--Erika continued working as a server, event host, bartender, prime rib chef, and bookkeeper at Wendt's On The Lake, Backyard Grill, & Whispering Springs Golf Course. Erika's vision for The Hive is to create a "center of activity" (much like a bee hive) where patrons have a variety of unique games and activities to do during their events and recreation time. It is her hope that outstanding customer service and attention to detail will make for memorable events and celebrations.
