Envision Greater Fond du Lac recently organized a ribbon-cutting event at Georgetown Cleaners, celebrating its new ownership. The cleaners, a longstanding family-owned business since 1959, was passed on to the Pelletier Family in 2024, continuing its tradition of family management.
Buck Dumanch, general manager and co-owner, stated, "Georgetown Cleaners in Fond du Lac’s premier dry cleaner and self-serve laundromat." He added, "We are a full-service laundry service, from dry cleaning to wash/dry/fold, we do it all! If you wear it, we’ll clean it!" The Pelletier family, having acquired the business from Jim and Kathy, strive to support their community by partnering with Advocap for laundry services for the less fortunate, and continuing the "Coat for Kids" initiative, in collaboration with the Salvation Army. "It’s just something I want to do to give back to those in need," Dumanch explained.
Georgetown Cleaners provides a range of services, including professional dry cleaning, shirt laundering, route services, free pickup and delivery, custom alterations and repair, and self-service laundry. They emphasize providing fast, friendly, and personalized service at competitive prices. Their aim is to deliver exceptional customer service every day.
Located at 399 S. Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac, Georgetown Cleaners invites the public to visit online for more information about drop-off locations, services, coupons, and specials.
