Bob Benzinger Secretary | Envision Greater Fond du Lac
Envision Greater Fond du Lac will host its annual Project G.R.I.L.L. Unveiling Event on May 9, 2025, at Festival Foods in Fond du Lac. The initiative, part of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, offers high school students a project-based learning experience that showcases careers in manufacturing. The objective is to build a future workforce by raising awareness of opportunities within the sector. Project G.R.I.L.L., standing for Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading, was originally developed in Sheboygan County and has been active in local school districts since 2008.
The event will take place in the parking lot of Festival Foods, where students will present their operational grills. Teams participating have the chance to win the Best in Show and Community Choice Awards. Academic scholarships will also be awarded, with winners announced at the event.
Attendees can purchase food and beverages at the Festival Brat Barn, with proceeds supporting the Project G.R.I.L.L. initiative.
