Annually, participants in the Leadership Fond du Lac County program, organized by Envision Greater Fond du Lac, engage in community projects aimed at benefiting Fond du Lac County and its communities. The 2024-2025 cohort included 28 participants divided into five teams: Team Pedal Pushers, Team In It to Win It for Veterans, Team Tables for Togetherness, Team Field 4tifiers, and Team Power Six. Each team collaborated with different partners and organizations within the county to address specific community needs.

Team Pedal Pushers worked with the Fond du Lac Public Library to purchase an e-bike equipped with custom storage. This initiative aims to promote access to the library’s resources across various community settings such as local farmer’s markets, schools, and residential areas including apartment complexes and senior living facilities.

Team In It to Win It for Veterans focused on renovating the Salute the Troops space. Their efforts were directed towards making it more comfortable and usable for existing veteran services by upgrading signage, furniture, cabinetry, and artwork.

Team Tables for Togetherness purchased and installed outdoor tables at the Waupun Community Center. This project was intended to enhance community engagement by providing accessible spaces for all.

Team Power Six (P6) designed and installed “Path2Play” signage along an existing pathway between the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac and Lakeside Park. The aim was to improve visibility and strengthen connections for visitors of both locations while promoting multi-generational play opportunities.

Team Field 4tifiers collaborated with the Fond du Lac Soccer Association to install new picnic tables at the Fond du Lac Soccer Complex.

Overall, these projects contributed over $20,000 in cash and in-kind donations back to Fond du Lac County communities. Since its inception, Leadership Fond du Lac County has provided more than $700,000 in support to area communities.

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2025-2026 class of Leadership Fond du Lac County.
