Leadership Fond du Lac County, a program of Envision Greater Fond du Lac, has announced Dan Shea as the 2025 recipient of the Donald G. Jones Leadership Alumni Award. The award will be presented to Shea during the Leadership Fond du Lac County Completion Ceremony on May 21, 2025, at South Hills Golf & Country Club.
The Donald G. Jones Leadership Alumni Award was established in 2001 to honor a former area businessman who played a significant role in founding and supporting the Leadership Fond du Lac program. Sponsored by Horicon Bank, this award acknowledges past graduates for their contributions to community improvement through volunteer service and leadership skills.
Dan Shea is recognized for his work as a master electrician and owner of Shea Electric & Communications LLC. His company collaborates with technology providers in areas such as cellular solutions and surveillance systems to enhance business performance. Shea is also noted for his active involvement in various community initiatives across Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.
Shea's community engagements include membership with TEC/Vistage, chairmanship of the Fox Valley Division of WI NECA, and board service for WI National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and Horicon Bank. He has been involved with several organizations like Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts and Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh.
In addition to his volunteer efforts, Shea sponsors educational opportunities such as Fond du Lac High School’s Ace Academy and hosted a leadership event featuring Chalmers Brothers.
