Young Professionals of Fond du Lac is excited to offer our first Professional Development Series program which has been designed to enhance the skill set of our members.  We're thrilled to host Leslie Laster, Director for Diversity, Accessibility, and Support Services for Moraine Park Technical College for her training on "How to Create an Inclusive Workplace".

As an emerging leader in your company, it's imperative to take authentic and actionable steps to build a more diverse and inclusive workplace. This workshop is about being intentional and willing to put in the work to reshape who you are and what you stand for so that everyone has a chance to thrive.

In this 2-hour training, you will learn:

  • how to identify a leader for DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion);
  • discover the "Why" for your organization and the benefits diversity and inclusion bring;
  • develop tools and tips around Employee Resource Group (ERG) or Affinity groups (understand the difference) and how/who should create them and why.
A light breakfast will be provided by Urban Fuel and is included in the cost of your registration.

Thank you to C.D. Smith Construction, Inc. for hosting us at their facility. C.D. Smith Construction, Inc. has graciously offered to give tours of their facility following the event.
