Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) has relocated its Sleep Center to a newly upgraded and larger space on the third floor of the hospital. This move aims to enhance their capacity to provide high-quality sleep studies and care for patients dealing with sleep disorders.
The new facility is designed to better accommodate individuals with disabilities and offers a quieter environment, which contributes to more accurate sleep study results. WRMC’s Sleep Center focuses on diagnosing and treating various sleep disorders, including Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), Shift Work Disorder (SWD), Sleep-Related Eating Disorders, Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), Insomnia, Adolescent Sleep Disorders, and Narcolepsy.
Amy Dingler, Manager of Sleep Services and Certified Sleep Educator at WRMC, emphasized the importance of quality sleep: “A good night’s sleep is essential for overall health, and when sleep is disrupted, it can affect everything from daily energy levels to long-term well-being. This new space allows us to better serve our patients in a more comfortable, effective setting, helping them get the rest they need to live healthier lives.”
For those experiencing difficulty falling asleep or feeling unrested after a full night's sleep, a sleep study may offer necessary insights. Individuals are encouraged to consult their primary care provider about a sleep lab referral or contact 920.262.4335 for further information.
WRMC has been serving Dodge and Jefferson counties in southeast Wisconsin for over 115 years with various healthcare services. These include Emergency Medicine, Primary Care, Women’s Health, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Heart and Vascular Care, Neurology, Pulmonology, Ophthalmology among others. WRMC operates as a joint venture between the Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation and ScionHealth.
