Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council has announced the recipients of the 2025 scholarships. The awards include the Fond du Lac Area Agri-Business Council Scholarship and the Fond du Lac Area Foundation Harold Reinecke Scholarship.
The Fond du Lac Area Agri-Business Council Scholarship supports individuals from the Fond du Lac County area who are pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture or agri-business at institutions such as universities, trade schools, technical colleges, or UW-Short Courses. The Harold Reinecke Scholarship is named after a long-time county extension agent and aims to assist young people preparing for agricultural careers.
This year's winners of the Fond du Lac Area Agri-Business Council Scholarships are:
- Maya Wiltzius from Fond du Lac, attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience and Life Science Communication.
- Neil Venhuizen from Waupun, studying Animal Science at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.
- McKinley Krueger from Campbellsport, planning to attend Black Hawk East College with a focus on Animal Science and Agri-Business.
- Nevaeh Galligan from Fond du Lac, intending to study Agri-Business at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
- Morgan Yahr from Campbellsport, currently enrolled at Iowa State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Meat Science.
Neil Venhuizen is also this year’s recipient of the Harold Reinecke Scholarship.
